Board Certified surgeons furthermore undergo rigorous examination following these years of study and only a select few that pass this examination are deemed Board Certified.
Dr. Orden grew up in Long Island, New York. He attended Clark University, then went to dental school at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. After dental school Dr. Orden enrolled in the four-year graduate studies and residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Orden also completed his graduate degree, with studies in degenerative joint diseases (arthritis) of the temporomandibular joint.
Dr. Orden was formely Assistant Clinical Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Boston University, and prior to that also taught at Tufts University

Dr. Orden publishes regularly in the professional literature and lectures regularly to his colleagues on surgery, anesthesia and computer technology.
Dr.Orden's professional interests include cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, dental implants and correction of facial deformities
He and his wife live in a suburb of Boston. They have three children each of whom have gone on to sucessful professional careers.
He is an avid photographer, jazz guitarist, tennis player and an expert in computer programming. He also enjoys hiking, skiing, swimming and training.
